Maths & Science Marketing aims and goals:
Education in South Africa today (as is also the case in many other countries), is moving into exciting, challenging times. Unfortunately, this causes stress and anxiety for many teachers and learners - as we face additional training and re-skilling in our respective subjects. Neither teachers nor learners know what to expect in external examinations and this causes stress and anxiety. We hope to try and make this transition as easy and effective as is possible with our exciting methodologies and materials.
Our authors:
Our Maths & Science authors are very experienced teachers who use all our materials on a daily basis in their own classroom teaching. Many of our authors are either current or past National Matric examiners, have written and published many books, as well as teaching and learning support materials over many years. They are teachers who achieve excellent academic results right up to Matric level every year in these crucial subjects.
Format of our materials:
In 2008 we have published 9 new CD Rom discs – one for each of Grades 10, 11 & 12 in Maths, Maths Literacy and Science. Each CD Rom disc contains 300 – 400 coloured, animated PowerPoint slides for the teaching and learning of the theory part of the Curriculum, as well as worksheets with solutions, MC worksheets with answers in Science, together with project ideas, rubric and assessment sheets etc. The excellent navigation on the discs, enables you to easily find a particular topic.
Instructions on how to use the products to maximum advantage for the teacher in the classroom or for the learner at home, are included on the discs.
